Carnegie Medal Shortlist 2013

There are some cracking Young Adult fiction titles in this year’s CILIP Carnegie Medal shortlist, with something for everyone. Subject matter varies from bullying of refugees in schools; gangsters and slavery; love, myth and sacrifice; totalitarian regimes and the power of humanity and friendship in the Second World War.

So go on, get out there and borrow/reserve a copy at your local library. And then tell your local librarian which book you think should win. We want to know which books you enjoy as it helps us decide on the type of book stock we should order.
